The IPES Student Council decided to use Valentine’s day as an opportunity to give back to the community. So, they implemented a “Candy Gram” fundraiser in the school, with all proceeds going to LAWS. The Student Council said they chose LAWS because there are a lot of animals that need help, and they’re an important part of the Laramie community.

For the fundraiser, students could buy a candy gram of assorted candies for $1, and have it delivered anonymously on Valentine’s Day. The IPES Student Council decided on the $1 price to make sure anyone could order a candy gram.

The fundraiser was so popular that the school extended the dates that students could buy the candy grams.
