Four more active cases have been detected on the 11th floor of McIntyre Residence Hall at the University of Wyoming.

All of the students on that floor are being told to shelter in place.

The action was taken in accordance with UW’s COVID-19 indicators and tactics for Phase 3 of the university’s fall return plan.

There are 174 active cases on campus, as of Friday, with 97 students living off-campus, 54 students living on campus, and 23 employees living off-campus. Some 58 people are in quarantine due to exposure to someone infected by the virus.
