On October 6, around noon, officers were alerted to a possible sighting of stolen property in the 2600 block of Reynolds Street.

After an investigation, officers arrested Don Bartlett, a 34-year-old Laramie resident, and charged him with Theft and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bartlett has been released on a signature bond.

Theft is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten years, a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars, or both if the value of the property is one thousand dollars or more.

Possession of a Controlled Substance is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than five years and fined not more than five thousand dollars or both.

At this time, these charges are merely accusations and the Defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
