Drawing Workshop At Biodiversity Center
A two-evening drawing workshop will engage people in Laramie with hands on techniques in nature sketching and field journal techniques.
The Drawn to Biodiversity Workshop is a great opportunity for teens and adults interested in science, drawing, art, nature or any of these things.
Bethann Merkle will host the workshop on August 6th and 7th, at the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center, located on the UW campus at 10th and East Lewis Street. The workshop will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each night.
Merkle will teach teens to adults, beginners to advanced to draw from items in the Berry Center. Discussions with Biodiversity Institute faculty will also encourage participants to think scientifically about drawing.
Registration fees are $125, and include workshop, dinner, and all art materials. Registration closes Monday, August 3rd and spaces are limited.
An optional tour of the Vertebrate Museum is also included.
