Should This Denver Lion Cub Be Named Meru, Moremi or Tatu?

The lion cub that was born in July will make his first public appearance today at the Denver Zoo today.

The lion cub will be available to view at the Denver Zoo today (Wednesday) from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. weather permitting.

The Zoo is also asking the public to vote on the name they like best for the cub. For a $1 donation you can get your vote in now.

Name Choices:

• Meru (a mountain in Tanzania)
• Moremi (a game reserve in Botswana)
• Tatu (the Swahili word for No. 3)
