In an effort to keep municipal staff as healthy as possible and to provide the vital services our community requires, the City of Laramie will be making changes to customer service operations effective Friday, March 13, at 3 pm. These changes will be in effect until further notice.

Customer service will be provided remotely whenever possible. Public facilities will be closed to walk-up customer traffic and visible signage will be posted at all entrances to instruct customers as to the options for accessing City services remotely.

Where it is not possible to serve customers remotely, staff will continue to utilize enhanced disinfection protocols, will practice social distancing, and any other measures recommended by the WY Department of Health and the CDC.

Travel for City staff and professional development training will be suspended for four weeks through April 10th, unless it is deemed necessary to preserve operational continuity.

The Laramie Community Recreation Center will remain open and operational until changes are required. The city asks that patrons follow these simple rules.

  • If you think you might be ill or becoming ill, please stay home.
  • Please use “No Touch” scanning of your membership card for entry.
  • Please use gym wipes or sprays to wipe down the equipment you use.
