Crash at 15th and Grand

UPDATE: The crash has been cleared and traffic is back to normal.

A silver Saab convertible hit a black SUV at the intersection of 15th St. and Grand Ave. at about 3:45 p.m. this afternoon.  No injuries have been reported.

Traffic headed west on Grand Ave. was being rerouted north onto 15th St. following the crash.  No word on how long it might take to clear the intersection.

The Saab was westbound on Grand Ave. and ran a red light, according to one witness who did not give his name.  The black SUV was proceeding northbound on 15th St. and was struck on the passenger side.

"I didn't see the red light," said the driver of the Saab, who wished to remain anonymous.  She had two passengers with her who said that they were students at the University of Wyoming.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Laramie Police Department.
