Cowboy Turf Wars Soccer Tourney Back in Laramie in January

The University of Wyoming Women’s Soccer team and the Laramie Soccer Club will again host the Cowboy Turf Wars Soccer Tournament The tourney will be held January 3 through 5, 2020 at the UW Indoor Practice Facility on the campus of the University of Wyoming.

Nearly 200 regional soccer teams will be in Laramie for the event.

“This has a huge impact on the community, estimates are that this tourney will bring $800,000+ into Laramie over 3 days. We have had restaurants in town tell us it takes 3 UW football game weekends for them to bring in as much money as they bring in over our tournament weekend,” Laura Tangeman, who is on the board of directors for the tournament, told the Laramie Chamber Business Alliance.
