There will be fun for all ages at the 51st annual Albany County 4-H Carnival this Saturday, Feb. 4th, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Albany County Fairgrounds. The major fundraiser carries the theme of "classic bands" which will be seen in decorations and games filling the activities building.

If you plan on attending, you will need tickets to play games, enter raffles and get food. Tickets will be available at the door for $.25 and according to Mary Louise Wood, 4-H/Youth Extension Educator, most games can be played for under $1.

In addition to the games (including cake walk and bingo), food and activities, attendees will also have the opportunity to vote for royalty and for the first time they can vote for their favorite booth. Wood says there is not criteria for favorite booth, you can simply vote for the booth you liked best, whether it was because of the decorations, the activities or the people in the booth.
