Cheyenne Man Arrested for Car Break-Ins

A Cheyenne man is behind bars after police say he broke into at least two vehicles in Sun Valley this (Monday) morning.

Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Dan Long says 31-year-old Matthew Luna was arrested in the 4500 block of East 16th Street.

"He did attempt to flee when officers arrived and he was apprehended," said Long. "He did resist arrest and was actually placed in the wrap and transported to the jail."

Luna also had a felony warrant out for his arrest for burglary probation violation.

Long says it's unclear at this time how many vehicles were actually broken into.

"If anyone's vehicle got burglarized please give us a call," said Long.
