I get impatient with time capsules, because, what do you mean I have to wait a few years to open them again? But, I do love the idea of it, because sometimes, all the junk in your room might just be an unintended time capsule. You open that dusty box and recall all of the memories you had.

The Ivinson Memorial Hospital and Foundation will be celebrating their 50th anniversary and opening their time capsule from 1973! Wow, I'm personally super excited, because as I said, I get impatient but here we are, opening something that is 50 years old!

Join them for a celebration of the last 50 years at Ivinson and take a peek into the past. When the hospital was first built in 1973, the Ivinson Memorial Hospital staff buried a time capsule on the property. No one probably recorded the information anywhere, because when they were building their new medical office building, they uncovered the capsule that was marked for March 6, 2023.

This is a unique opportunity to celebrate the advances of the hospital and to look ahead to the next 50 years in Laramie, starting with the expansion of our emergency facilities.

While you're there, the staff will also be sharing information and giving tours around the hospital. If you've never had to visit a hospital (bless you, let's hope it stays that way for all the right reasons!) this is your chance to take a look around the hospital.

They will also be serving food from the Grazing Cowboy! It's an absolutely free event, as they are wanting to share this history and celebration with the community. So, don't miss out!

Retired Hockey Star Bobby Holik Is Selling His Wyoming Home

The former New Jersey Devils player originally listed his home on June 2022, and an offer was made (and declined) in September. The property was removed from the market, but now he is giving the home sale another go.
