Cathy Connolly Announces Intention to Run for Re-election

Representative Cathy Connolly, who represents House District 13 in Laramie, has announced her intention to run for re-election.

Connolly is the Minority Floor Leader of the House of Representatives, and serves on numerous standing and select committees.

Connolly, and 11-year veteran to the legislature, stated, “While I had considered retiring at the end of this session, the challenges we now face as a state, in our communities, and with our families and neighbors are too important for me to stop serving our community.”

Connolly has a Ph.D. in sociology and a law degree. She is also a professor in the School of Culture, Gender and Social Justice at the University of Wyoming where she has won several teaching awards.
