Brett Glass called the Laramie Live studio to speak about his campaign for City Council.

You can listen to the full interview below.

In a recent speech, Brett stated,

"We'll need to face and solve long term problems such as parking, both near campus and downtown; street improvement in West Laramie; open spaces; law enforcement accountability; business development; zoning; bicycle friendliness; broadband access; and retail diversity. And we'll need to do all this with reduced funding due to the COVID-19 pandemic...

Laramie needs fair, responsive, thoughtful, and transparent government. Too often, items are rushed through, with Council merely rubber stamping the personal desires of city staff. This is not good. Since we do not yet have an elected mayor, as I think any major league city should, the 9 members of City Council need to take an active management role and make sure we have a democracy, not a bureaucracy.

I will not burn out, stop listening, or stop caring. I will always strive to make sure that the public is informed of what we do and has a fair opportunity to provide input. And so, I'm asking for your vote. Please give me an opportunity to serve you as a member of the Laramie City Council. "
