It's time for spring cleaning! One great way to clear unnecessary or unwanted items from your home is to donate them and lucky for you Arc Thrift Stores is having a collection this Saturday, April 28, in Laramie. They'll be loading trucks with gently used clothing and household items in the Wal-Mart parking lot from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Donating to Arc is easy because they accept just about anything. You don't have to worry about whether or not something is in working order or if it's good enough to resell at the Arc Thrift Stores. They will do all the sorting for you, so just bring your stuff to them and don't worry about it anymore. Also, they'll give you a tax deductible receipt for your donation.

Of course, there are some items they cannot accept. They include mattress and box springs, infant car seats, built-in appliances, window blinds, mini blinds, baby walkers, playpens, strollers and baby swings.

Arc Thrift Stores is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to creating and funding programs that serve individuals living with developmental disabilities. After retail operations, 100% of the profit is distributed to the Arc Chapters, Advocacy Denver and the Association for Community Living. Over the last ten years alone, over $25 million in funds have been raised by the operation of Arc Thrift Stores.
