Albany County School Board Picks Company for Superintendent Search
During the February 24 Board of Trustees Special Called Meeting, the Board voted to approve McPherson and Jacobson, LLC, to assist with the superintendent search.
McPherson & Jacobson, LLC, has been conducting national searches for governing boards since 1991.
The Board of Trustees heard presentations from McPherson and Jacobson, LLC, and the Wyoming School Boards Association (WSBA). The Board allocated to each group about 15 minutes to present, and 15 minutes to answer questions from the School Board.
During the last Albany County School District #1 superintendent search, the Board selected WSBA to assist with the search. That search resulted in the hiring of Dr. Jubal Yennie in 2015.
The next Board of Trustees meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 6 p.m.
