Aggravated Assault Leads to Arrest
On Friday, October 8 around noon, officers with the Laramie Police Department were dispatched to the area of the 600 block of Mitchell Street for the report of a subject threatening with a gun.

Upon investigation of responding officers, Ryan Poyer, a 29-year-old Laramie resident, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault. Poyer is currently being held at the Albany County Detention Center without bond.
Aggravated Assault is a felony that is punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten years.
At this time, these charges are merely accusations and the Defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
