Downtown Laramie may be saying goodbye to A Touch of Country. Owners Dan and Connie Trowbridge have been trying to sell the store, but with no prospective buyers on the horizon, they have begun to slowly liquidate their inventory.

As of Tuesday morning, everything in the store is being sold for 20 percent off. Connie says they will continue to mark down prices as they get closer to this summer, which is when they are hoping to move to Nebraska to be closer to family. While some customers have suggested that they either move the store with them or put it online, they are looking forward to retirement.

The store has a very large inventory, so it will take a while to sell. The Trowbridges are hoping that someone will come along and purchase the store in the next four months so that they won't have to close it. They encourage anyone interested to call the store at 721-2171 for more information.

If A Touch of Country does close it's doors, it will be the second store in Laramie to do so this year.
