Get ready for something Laramie hasn't seen in a while... snow! And wind!  Yes, we're being a tad sarcastic.

Both a hazardous weather advisory and high wind warning have been issued by the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.  Snow is expected off and on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Wind gusts could exceed 60 MPH at times.  This storm could also produce hazardous road conditions.  We'll keep you updated with any new forecast/travel details.

RAWLINS TO CHEYENNE...AND INTERSTATE 25 CORRIDOR FROM THE COLORADO
BORDER TO WHEATLAND THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON. GUSTS TO AROUND 60 MPH
ARE LIKELY IN THESE AREAS. MOTORISTS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION...
ESPECIALLY IF DRIVING LIGHT WEIGHT OR HIGH PROFILES VEHICLES.
LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE IN THE SNOWY AND SIERRA MADRE MOUNTAINS
TODAY...ALONG WITH GUSTY WEST WINDS PRODUCING AREAS OF BLOWING
SNOW.

A COLD FRONT WILL SAG SOUTH ACROSS THE EASTERN PLAINS SATURDAY
MORNING...AND STALL ALONG THE LARAMIE RANGE SATURDAY NIGHT. THIS WILL
SET THE STAGE FOR WIDESPREAD ACCUMULATING SNOW SATURDAY THROUGH
SUNDAY.
