Wednesday, Aug. 6, 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. -- Songwriter and recording artist Ian McFeron will perform for the UW Summer Programs concert series on Simpson Plaza. Free.

Thursday, Aug. 7, 9-10:30 p.m. -- Outdoor movie, “Wings of Life,” will be shown in the pit outside of the Williams Conservatory, south of the Aven Nelson Building. Free.

Saturday, Aug. 9, 10-11 a.m. -- Pollinator gardens tour at the Berry Center near Lewis and 10th Street, with hints on providing native plants and habitat. Free.

Dinosaur skeletons, ancient mammal fossils and other exhibits are on display in the UW Geological Museum, open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.

A variety of exhibitions can be seen at the UW Art Museum in the Centennial Complex, 2111 Willett Drive, which is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free.

The UW Department of Botany’s Williams Conservatory is open to the public from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Fridays. Free.
