Thursday, April 24, 7 p.m. -- Peter Kalivas, internationally acclaimed leader in the field of drug addiction research, discusses “Why do we like drugs so much?” in Room 214 of the Classroom Building. Free.

Thursday, April 24, 7:30 p.m. -- “A Choral Collage” featuring performances by the Bel Canto Women’s Choir, Happy Jacks and the Singing Statesmen, Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts concert hall. Free.

Friday, April 25, 3:30 p.m. -- Initiation of new members of Phi Beta Kappa, Wyoming Union Family Room. Free.

Friday, April 25, 7 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “Scale of the Universe” followed at 8 p.m. by “Best of U2.” Tickets for each show cost $3 for adults, $2 for students and free to children under 12. Enter through the southwest doors of the Physical Sciences Building.

A variety of exhibitions can be seen at the UW Art Museum in the Centennial Complex, 2111 Willett Drive, open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Mondays from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Free.
