Tickets on Sale for Fall Film Series at Wyo Theater

Tickets are now on sale for the fall film series at the Wyo theater. The series is scheduled to open September 16 with "The Best Exotic Marigold  Hotel." Other critically acclaimed films in the series include "Beasts  of The Southern Wild," "Moonrise Kingdom" and "Bully." Popular  films in the 12-film series are Woody Allen's "To Rome With Love", the  romantic comedy "Hope Springs" with Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones,  the thriller "Premium Rush" and the drama "The Master" Starring Phillip  Seymore Hoffman.

The fall film series runs from Sept. 16, through Dec. 9 every Sunday, except Nov. 25, at the Wyo Theatre, 309 S. 5th St. All shows start at 7 p.m. the regular price for tickets to films in the series is $6.50, but a discounted price of $5 per ticket is available for ticket packages purchased in advance packaged together with a Wyo Film Society membership; five tickets plus a membership sells for $30 and 10-ticket package sells for $55.

Advance discount packages can be purchased at the Wyo Theatre box office, at the Pedal House and Big Hollow Foods downtown, at the UniWyo Federal Credit Union, and the Credit Union office on campus through Sept. 23. The Laramie Film Society needs to sell 500 tickets in advance to get the series off the ground.
