Last night the Neville Brothers made Laramie move their hips and get more funky!  It was amazing to have the Neville Brothers in Wyoming and on a stage so close you felt like you were part of an intimate concert.  The Neville Brothers are so good at their craft it's a seamless music spectacle for the senses.

Hope to see you all in Centennial, this coming Saturday, for the 2nd Annual Our Home Benefit Music Festival. Last year (meaning you, me, and everyone else who attended) raised $4,000, which built a home for 38 children in Kerala, India. This year, all proceeds will go toward building a school for the 200+ children in their mountain village.

It isn’t often that Laramie residents get the chance to hear solo harp music. A unique and versatile instrument, the harp has long been limited to Classical and traditional music. In her Wyoming debut Martha Gallagher, the Adirondack Harper, will show the inspiring breadth of possibilities in harp music.

The University of Wyoming’s 2011 Snowy Range Summer Theatre and Dance Festival concludes on August 20th and 21st with “Vertical Dance at Vedauwoo: Rainbow Snake and the Red Desert.”

The UW Campus Activities Center Summer Programs is planning a trip to Cheyenne to see the Zac Brown Band perform at Cheyenne Frontier Days on Friday, July 29.  Tickets went on sale on July 15 and can still be purchased at information desk in the Wyoming Union breezeway for $20.

The Snowy Range Music Festival is happy to announce that the third annual festival will take place the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of September, 2011 and will feature bigger stages, additional Morningstar Turf, and thirty-nine shows.
