Be sure to slow down on Interstate 80 near the Grand Avenue Interchange. WYDOT has sent a crew there to improve the lighting for the intersection. The speed limit will be lowered to 65 miles per hour and there will be sporadic single lane closures into October.

Twenty aluminum poles will be replaced with fiberglass break-away models for better safety. At the same time the lights and wiring in the poles will be upgraded. WYDOT expects the work to be completed by the end of October.

The contractor being used is Modern Electric, out of Casper. The project cost is $150,000 and is being paid for by federal funds.
