One of the best ways to protect yourself from identity theft is to shred your personal documents. Of course, not everyone has a paper shredder at home and the hand shredding method can be painstaking and painful. Lucky for Laramie, Wyoming State Bank is holding a Community Shred Day.

Anyone is welcome to bring up to 100 lbs of paper or 2 copy paper sized boxes worth to the bank parking lot on Saturday, June 30th between 9 and 11 AM. Alexis Schreiter says all papers will be shredded on the spot for free. Participants can also enter a drawing to win two free Texas football tickets in addition to other prizes which will be given away.

Wyoming State Bank is located at 3430 East Grand Avenue in Laramie.
