LARAMIE – 7220 Entertainment will host the Student Short Film Festival in the Wyoming Union Family Room on April 20 at 7:00 p.m. This event will showcase short films submitted by University of Wyoming students. There will be an Awards Showcase & Ceremony following the screening of submissions. Prizes will be awarded to the top three selections: First place will receive a trophy along with a $500 B&H gift card. Second place will receive a $300 B&H gift card and Third place will receive a $200 B&H gift card. Last year’s first place winner was Sam Mallory for his film, Chad, second place was Andres Cabrales for Journey, and third place was Austin Tarango and Maia Marces for Green Light. Both first and third place winners will be returning this year with new films.

This event is free and open to the public, light appetizers will be provided.
The 7220 Films Committee will be hosting The Student Short Film Festival and meets on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. in the Campus Activities Center (Union 012) during the school year. https://www.uwyo.edu/union/cac/7220-entertainment/how-to-join.html
