Additional Information

The University of Wyoming Department of Theatre and Dance is proud to present “Spring To Dance,” a mixed-bill concert offering an array of dance styles ranging from jazz and modern to European release and vertical dance.
The concert will feature popular local music ensemble, Lights Along the Shore, and is held in memoriam of professor emeritus Margaret “Margie” Small Mains, a modern dance innovator who began the dance program at the University of Wyoming.
Choreographed by UW Dance faculty members Margaret Wilson, Jennifer Deckert, and Maurice Watson, as well as guest artists, “Spring to Dance” runs March 7 through 10 at 7:30 p.m. on the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts Main Stage. Tickets cost $14 for the public, $11 for senior citizens and $7 for students. For tickets and information call (307) 766-6666 or go online at www.uwyo.edu/finearts.
The opening performance of “Spring to Dance” is Pay-What-You-Can (general seating), while Thursday evening is Family Night, free for children ages five through 12.
