Additional Information

The Unexpected Company is inviting the Laramie audiences to accompany them to Washington D.C. for an unusual look at our capitol through song and dance (and the music is wonderful). This production, Tom Northam's "Sometimes a Rainbow," does not delve into politics or governmental issues but into the everyday lives of some of its residents. It is a musical comedy with a different point of view and features Susan Shumway, who is directing the company, and Vera Reid, one of the original founders of The Unexpected Company. Come join in the journey of life of some very interesting characters. The show takes place at the Alice Hardie Stevens Center on Thursday, Oct. 26, and Friday, Oct. 27th at 7 p.m., a matinee on Sunday, Oct. 29th at 2:00 p.m. and then on the following weekend on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 4th, and Sunday, Nov. 5 both at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 with all proceeds going to the Alice Hardie Stevens expansion project. They can be purchased at the Eppson Center, First Interstate Bank and the Carriage House Gift Shop at the Laramie Plains Museum.
