LARAMIE – 7220 Entertainment Late Night Events presents Nightmare on Ivinson 2: Pistol Pete's Revenge. This event will be Friday, October 27 at 9 p.m. in the Wyoming Union. 7220 Entertainment will be hosting a variety of events such as: Master Illusionist Aiden Sinclair, Denver Ghost Hunts, Escape Rooms, cookie decorating, a costume contest, and the classic film Rocky Horror Picture Show.
UW student ID is required to pick up free tickets to participate in the Ghost Hunt and Escape Rooms. A limited number of tickets will be available at the Wyoming Union information desk beginning Monday, Oct.16.
Master Illusionist: Aiden Sinclair is one of the few professional magicians in the world who specialize in the presentation of paranormal illusions. His theatrical séance is a weekly feature at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. He has appeared on national television programs in England, Ireland, South Africa and the United States, including an appearance on season 10 of the hit NBC series “America's Got Talent.”
Denver Ghost Hunters (DGH) will conduct three ghost hunting sessions in Knight Hall at 10 p.m., 11 p.m. and midnight. DGH members travel across the country connecting with other ghost hunting groups and investigating a variety of places like haunted houses, businesses, and historic locations.
The Escape Rooms, facilitated by Neon Entertainment, will have 4 themes: Patient Zero episode 1 - The moment you enter the room you will be infected. You have only one hour before the disease has done too much damage to your body to reverse and you become one of them. Patient Zero episode 2 - Dr. Scaramouch, patient zero, was never captured. He kept getting stronger, infecting more and more people. A new strain has mutated and we can’t slow or stop the outbreak unless we can find his blood sample and reverse engineer it. Boom! - You have 45 minutes to stop a bomb that will destroy all the evidence of a murder. In order to save the evidence you must discover the 4-digit code. Lastly, School of Wizardry - trials will test your magical aptitude and ability to overcome various challenges that may include charms, potions, divination, levitation, and/or runes. The event will also include costume contests for UW students starting at 11:45 p.m. for those dressed as characters from the movie “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and for general costumes. Additionally, the Films Committee will show the fan favorite “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” at midnight in the Wyoming Union Ballroom.
Among these activities, located in the Senate Chambers, there will also be an opportunity to get creative and enjoy a treat with cookie decorating. Using frosting and sprinkles, decorate cookies with your favorite Halloween character to enjoy as the night progresses.
