Additional Information

Laramie Rivers Conservation District is hosting its 10th Conservation Expo. The Expo gives Albany County residents an opportunity to learn about a wide range of conservation topics and talk to local educators, agencies, business owners, groups and more!
We invite folks to come to this FREE, kids friendly event and learn about gardening, composting, beekeeping, wildlife conservation, recycling, net-zero buildings, alternative energies, seed libraries, local foods, and more!
Food is available for purchase from Cathy and Larry Fairfield (yummy tacos, green chili, burritos galore!!) and there are numerous activities for kids like the ever popular Stream Table that teaches how water carves out streams and the UW Extension insect table with microscopes for looking at many types of 6-legged creatures up close.

It is the mission of Laramie Rivers Conservation District to provide leadership for the conservation of Albany County's soil, water, and all other natural resources; preserve and enhance wildlife habitat; protect the tax base; and promote the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of Albany county through responsible conservation ethic.
If you have a business, organization, group, or are an individual who has information to share with others that you think would fit in, please contact Laura McGinley at 307.721.0072 Ext. 3269.
