7220 Entertainment and Abilities are showing the film I Am Sam on Monday, April 10 in the Union Family Room. The showing, which is closed captioned, will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will have a panel discussion afterwards; I Am Sam is rated PG – 13. Pizza will be provided during the event. This event is free and open to the public.
I Am Sam is about: “A mentally handicapped man who fights for custody of his 7-year-old daughter, and in the process teaches his cold hearted lawyer the value of love and family” (IMDB).
7220 Entertainment is currently looking for committee members to join one or more of its five committees responsible for planning events for the student body. The Films Committee is responsible for showing I Am Sam. They meet Wednesdays at 4 pm in the Campus Activities Center, Union 012 during the school year.
