“15 Years of Body Images” Reception at UW March 6

“15 Years of Body Image”, presented by 7220 Entertainment, will exhibit Monday, March 6 – Thursday, March 23 in the University of Wyoming Gallery 234. A reception will be held on March 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This event is free and open to public.
“My work is unique in that I paint with my body so the paint that is applied directly to my canvas from my body. Because every print is an exact representation of my body at the time, these paintings are actual representations of my body at different ages. Additionally, I add details (also by hand), which, have proven to be somewhat reflective of my personal body image at the time the pieces are painted. Because of this, I would like to offer you a show of body prints that are representative of my self-image from age 19-age 32 titled ‘15 Years of Self Portraits’”(Christine Sanvik).
Gallery 234 is located in the lower level of the Wyoming Union.
