Three students in the University of Wyoming Master of Fine Arts Creative Writing Program will read from their original work at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, in the Alice Hardie Stevens Center at the Laramie Plains Museum. The event is free and open to the public.

Students who will present works are writer Ella Fishman, from Irvine, Calif.; Erin Jones of Lubbock, Texas, who focuses on nonfiction writing, with an interest in environment and natural resources; and fiction writer Joey Rubin of Irvine, Calif.

Both Fishman and Jones are first-year MFA students, and Rubin is in his second year in the program.
