Ask The City: Grand Configuration
The Question:
The configuration of Grand Avenue now forces southbound turns onto 17th street instead of 18th. Are there any plans to remove stops signs on 17th so that is goes through to Sheridan with no stops like 18th does? And would the stop signs be moved to 18th?
The Answer:
“At this time, there are no plans to do this. To make such a change the City would have to perform a comprehensive study of the area and it is not a priority at this time. The City will keep this concern in mind as further analysis is completed in this area.”
