Question:

When will the city do something about the dirt on Arthur Street in West Laramie?

Answer:

"Any concerns regarding a specific street location can be directed to the City Streets Division, who will work to correct the problem. Otherwise, incremental improvements to the west side side streets of Laramie will continue as they have.

Over the past 3 years, the city has spent a considerable amount of time and resources on city street improvements, and will continue to do so. The city's objective is to enhance the conditions of the streets, as well as improve drainage. In order for this to occur, all utilities and storm drainage improvements must be completed before any street paving can take place. Storm drainage needs to begin at the bottom and work upstream. The City Streets Division has implemented a systematic approach to these drainage improvements; however, progress is limited to the availability of funds."

Ask the City Of Laramie is your chance to send the city that burning question that you have always wondered about such as: “How can I get a city parking permit?” or “Why did my water usage rates go through the roof?”

Please note that the City of Laramie will answer as many questions as possible at their discretion.
