The Equality State did not fair so well when it came to women's equality for 2019.

A recent study done by the credit website WalletHub lists the Best & Worst States for Women's Equality. There were seventeen different metrics that were evaluated to calculate the study. Wyoming landed the 38th spot overall on the list, putting us in well into the worst portion of the list.

The methodology used to compile the study states:

To determine where women receive the most equal treatment in the U.S., WalletHub compared the 50 states across three key dimensions: 1) Workplace Environment, 2) Education & Health and 3) Political Empowerment.

While the Cowboy State scored in the bottom half of the country, we did land the number one spot for Smallest Executive Position Gap. Unfortunately we landed dead last for the Largest Income Gap and 46th for the Largest Work Hours Gap.
