Saturday, May 18th is now Military Appreciation Day, it was created by Governor Mark Gordon, according to ShortGo.

This day is to honor those who have served past and present in the military. The few that were in attendance for the signing of the proclamation gave the Governor a pen to sign with and to remember the day. There is a Military Appreciation Day held every year during the month of May by the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce as a part of their Military May month.

This Saturday, bring the whole family out to High West Energy Cheyenne Center.  There will be BBQ served all day for $10 a plate, kids under 10 are free. While the adults enjoy the food, the kids can enjoy the bouncy house, face painting and more.

Come on out and show the MIlitary how much you appreciate them.
