UPDATE: Longmont Police reported that the dog was located being walked on Main Street and will be reunited with the family.

According to the Longmont Police, a 59-year old man went to 7-Eleven located at 1650 North Main Street with his dog named Sampson.

The man fell at the convenience store and had a seizure. He was transported to the hospital for medical care and sadly did not survive.

During the time of the medical episode, an unidentified woman took the man's dog while first responders were attempting to administer medical aid.

According to the Facebook post from Longmont Fire, Police and OEM, the family does not know this woman. Surveillance footage shows the woman taking the dog from 7-Eleven. Take a look at the photos below and see if you might be able to identify her.

Longmont Police are asking whoever has the dog that goes by Sampson or Sammy to bring him to the Longmont Police Department located at 225 Kimbark St.
