Off to a 2-0 start for the first time in five years, the Wyoming Cowboys seek their third win of the season when they host the Idaho Vandals Saturday afternoon.

The game in Laramie at War Memorial Stadium will kick-off at 3 p.m.

Head coach Craig Bohl, in the video above, reflected on his team’s victory at Texas State, including an improved defensive performance in the second half. Bohl also liked how the offense controlled the clock, and the fact the Cowboys have a good turnover margin early in the season. Bohl went on to look at this week’s opponent in Idaho. He focused on the fact that the Vandals play two different types of quarterbacks in their spread attack. Also, Bohl mentioned former Wyoming assistant Mike Breske runs the Idaho defense.

Coach Bohl was asked about the struggles in the passing game for Wyoming and what he and the coaching staff are looking at in that area. He talked about injuries, any concern with the slow starts, and much more on the Cowboys.

Wyoming’s last 3-0 start was the 2011 season when the Pokes defeated Weber State, Texas State, and Bowling Green in their first three games.
