The University of Wyoming Cowboys football program represents the state's only four-year public university and competes in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision as a member of the Mountain West Conference. The team plays its home games at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie, Wyoming, where the stadium's elevation of more than 7,200 feet makes it the highest-elevation home field in FBS college football.
