Watch a Bear Chow Down on a Family’s Security Cam in Their Yard

If you've ever wondered what it would look like if you were to be inside of a bear's mouth, wonder no more. There's a new video share of a bear chowing down on a family's security camera.

According to the video description on YouTube, this bear/camera encounter happened in Cle Elum, Washington. As it begins, you can see the curious bear nosing around before he takes a specific interest in the camera. Before long, the camera is recording from inside of the bear's monstrous mouth. This marks the first time I've actually seen a bear's tonsils and it will hopefully be the last.

The family said that they feared the bear was about to break into their home, but the animal was gone by the time the police arrived. They also mentioned that they watched the bear eat the camera live through their Nest camera app. No wonder they were a bit terrified that they were the bear's next meal.

Fortunately, neither the bear or family was harmed, but the Nest cam did not have a happy ending. They'll need a new one to document this bear's next visit. Yikes.
