UW’s Elementary Education Program Ranked Among Nation’s Best

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — An independent online publication ranks the University of Wyoming's elementary teacher education program No. 6 among the top 35 bachelor's in elementary education degree programs nationwide.

College Choice is a college search and rankings website.

It ranks UW just behind Purdue University, Texas A&M University, Marshall University, Louisiana Tech University and the University of Texas-Arlington on its list of the "Best Elementary Education Degrees for 2017."

The website noted UW's low tuition and great reputation.

College Choice ranked schools based on a school's reputation score, affordability rating and specific program ratings.
