The University of Wyoming’s annual Pharmacy Frolic will be held Sunday, April 14, from 8-11 a.m. at Laramie’s Optimist Park.

Sponsored by the pharmacy student organization, Wyoming Student Society of Health System’s Pharmacy (WSSHP), the Frolic is a 5k run/walk to raise money for Interfaith-Good Samaritan. Registration costs are $15 for students and $20 for the general public. T-shirts, available for $5, can be reserved through pre-registration.

The pre-registration deadline is Saturday, March 30. A registration table is set up in the Wyoming Union through Friday, March 15. Runners also can register at the race, or by sending an email to Andrew Grothen at agrothe1@uwyo.edu.

“We will give away prizes donated from local businesses to the winners of the race and of a raffle,” says Nate Fuller, WSSHP UW chapter vice president. “This event is a lot of fun for a good cause, and race times can be used to qualify for the 2013 Bolder Boulder.”
