As part of the nationwide celebration of Youth Art Month during March, the University of Wyoming Art museum is offering two creative opportunities for students.

March 8, 15, and 29 from 1-3 p.m., students ages 4-11 can partake in free classes in the Shelton Studio at the UW Art Museum that explore the creative processes of art as well as creating works of art. Although the class is free, pre-registration is preferred.

During spring break there is a camp offered for children ages 6-10 March 17-21, from 1-4:45 p.m. This camp allows students the opportunity to use artwork in the UW Art Museum to invigorate the young students to create artwork from everyday moments.

The price for the camp is $60/week or $15/day for every student. For more information, contact Heather Bender, master teacher, at (307) 766-3515 or hbender1@uwyo.edu.
