Twelve Laramie Soccer Players Earn Honors
The Laramie Plainsmen and Lady Plainsmen were represented by 12 players on the 4A All-State and All-Conference teams for the 2014 season.
The Wyoming Coaches Association announced their selections earlier this week.
For the Lady Plainsmen, they had five players earn 4A All-State honors and six received All-Conference accolades in the 4A East Conference.
Senior Jacqui Pulley was named All-State for the third straight season. She is joined by two-time All-State performers in seniors Natalie Davis and Haley Moon. Seniors Allison Lepper and Shelby Jackson also were named to the 4A All-State squad.
Fellow senior Acacia Portillo joins those five on the 4A East All-Conference team.
On the gentleman's side, the Plainsmen had four players receive All-State recognition, while a total of six were named to the All-Conference squad.
Seniors Noah Snider, Gavin Worden and Kyle Russell were selected All-State. They are joined by junior Andrew Barnes, who is a two-time honoree.
Those four are joined by senior Cormac Martinez del Rio and sophomore Lucas Thorsness on the 4A East All-Conference team.
