The University of Wyoming and Albany County will have to wait until November 5th to hear the judgement that the Albany County Board of Equalization has regarding the Bison Run Village land. Bison Run Village is a student housing facility that is located on 2512 Willett Drive. The issue is not the student housing itself, but if the land should be taxed. Now typically, University of Wyoming property is exempt from property taxation. The University believes that the Bison Run Village land is no different from any other UW property. University of Wyoming's Director of Institutional Communications, Chad Baldwin further explains the position of the University.

Chad Baldwin goes on to say, that if the judgement goes against UW, the university will seek an appeal to the State Board of Equalization or district court. Albany County officials are unavailable for comment until after the November 5th judgement.
