The Forest Service, University of Wyoming and the Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office will hold a public meeting next Monday to discuss the current status of the UW Recreation Camp near Centennial, Wy. UW has had a permit to use the land since 1947, but hasn't used the land since 2009 and does not intend to renew their permit. Since the university is choosing not to renew their permit, they have plans to demolish and or remove their buildings. Here is Public Affairs Specialist with the Medicine Bow National Forest, Aaron Voos on what they hope to accomplish at the public meeting:

The meeting will take place Dec. 16, at the Albany County Public Library in Laramie from 4-7 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend.
