Hollywood Director- Renny Harlin's big-screen directorial debut was a horror movie filmed in the Cowboy State, and that movie is getting a special edition BluRay release.

Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained is one of the latest projects to be filmed, partly, in Wyoming. But the cowboy state does have a few other credits to its name.

We're just a little more than a month away from Halloween. There will be plenty of activities surrounding the upcoming holiday here in Laramie, including an annual tradition at the Wyoming Territorial Prison. Ghost Tours of Laramie City returns for another year.

Ghost Tours of Laramie City is yet again preparing to scare the pants off people who have enough guts to brave the allegedly haunted Wyoming Territorial Prison after dark. This year they are presenting their ghost tour “Terror Behind Stone Walls”.

Laramie has been holding a celebration of Wyoming's statehood since 1940, but for the 2012 edition of Laramie Jubilee Days, the party is getting a bit bigger. Laramie Jubilee Days has partnered with the Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site to create a new event this year, the “Wyoming Statehood Celebration" on Tuesday July 10, 2012 at the Wyoming Territorial Prison from 11 AM to 2 PM.

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead will be making an appearance at Wyoming's Hometown Celebration this year at Laramie Jubilee Days Wyoming Statehood Celebration. The event will take place at the Wyoming Territorial Prison on July 10th which is Wyoming Statehood Day.

A Milk Can Dinner, giant kites and stagecoach rides are some of the fun new pieces to the Butch Cassidy Festival at the Wyoming Territorial Prison. Formerly Butch Cassidy Days, the now one day festival will take place on June 9 from 9 a.m to 5 p.m.

The senior community theatre group The Unexpected Company is performing "Fable, Foibles & Follies of Laramie City," which is billed as an hysterical, historical musical review. The show will cover Laramie history from 1860-1890.

While many people are associated with the Wyoming Territorial Prison and their most famous prisoner, Butch Cassidy, the museum has taken a big step to ensure the history of the prison after it housed criminals is not forgotten. The "Science on the Range" exhibit is now open.
