Parts of southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle could see wind gusts up to 40 mph, marble-sized hail and lightning this afternoon and evening.

Great weather will finish the work week, but Mother's Day will be breezy and cold with a chance for showers and scattered thunderstorms.

There are better chances of severe thunderstorms today and Thursday, with less of a chance on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
