Cheyenne recorded its third driest April on record and the driest April since 1880, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

A winter storm that officially dumped 30.8 inches of snow on Cheyenne this past weekend recorded record and near-record snowfall amounts across the region.

Don Day says Cheyenne officially got 14 inches of snow over the weekend.

Here in Cheyenne, we tied our all-time earliest record of snowfall and broke our daily record for snowfall with 1.1 inches.
