Governor Mark Gordon has followed up a presidential directive by ordering all flags in the state to half-staff through Thursday to honor the victims of a mass-shooting in Allen, Texas.

The release says the state order was issued in response to a proclamation of President Joe Biden.

President Joe Biden has vowed to sign the legislation quickly.

The bill now goes to the Senate for consideration.
